Rockefeller is misleading us.
Hard work, persistence despite failure, is all that anyone, including businessmen, need to succeed.
Remember Abraham Lincoln had 13 failures before coming President.
Harshad Mehta ('90s, remember?) worked at 13 different jobs, all failures, before the last big one!
