·         The management of open API for developer communities
·         Partner and cross-divisional integration via SOA

Job Requirements:
Project Description, Deliverables and Responsibilities:
The following activities will be performed on-going as part of this engagement subject to requirements and specifications: 
  • Identifies and proactively resolves issues/defects within the project team.
  • Communicates project status, progress on deliverables, and risks/issues to stakeholders and leadership in a timely manner.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams including architects, infrastructure team, software engineers, developers, testers, technical leads, and deployment leads to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Ensures adherence to GM's Software Development Life Cycle and delivery methodologies, guidelines and policies. 
  • Adheres to change management processes during the project lifecycle.
  • Ensures compliance with project deliverables.
Required Skillset:
  • Working "hands-on" knowledge of Layer7 (Middleware) as it relates to mobile device management, security, BYOD (bring your own device) program, and mobile application development.
  • This role also includes an understanding of the architecture for providing secure mobile app access to back end web services using API management/Mobile access gateway (Layer7) and OAuth.
  • Experience interacting with business customers and managing expectations.
  • Minimum five years of client interaction and technical implementation experience, with the ability to rapidly generate client trust and confidence.
  • Degree in computer science, computer/software engineering or related discipline - or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of Web services (REST and SOAP), general Internet/network security standards and cryptography.
  • Experience in architecting and implementing integration solutions around key technologies (API, C++, WebSphere)
  • Experience with: network infrastructure devices (switches, routers, load balancers); identity and access management systems (LDAP, CA Siteminder, Oracle Access Manager); reliable messaging systems (JMS, WebsphereMQ).
  • Proficient with Red Hat Linux, Solaris and Windows operating systems.
