Technology is ,no doubt , a powerful tool. However, its effectiveness in learning depends on what for it is used and how it is used.
Some subjects ( like Chemistry, Botany and Zoology ) are possibly more amenable for technology-enabled learning, whereas concept oriented
subjects ( like Mathematics and physics ) are better learnt thru class room / teacher-enabled learning.
In either case, we can not do away with the teacher , as he/she has a vital role to play - that of facilitation of learning.

Do you believe that [techno-school] e-learning in schools is highly effective? We do not find students carrying bags in top international schools as they have gone online/e-learning/LMS?
-- Good that students need not carry the heavy weight but is it effective ?
An area needs good discussion...................
