The e-commerce business analysts works with both business and it teams to identify, analyze, and document the e-commerce needs and requirements of company and also assists business users in resolving operational system issues. responsible for the following:
* gather and analyze business needs and create detailed specifications and use cases
* identify data flows, data functions, user interactions
* lead meetings with business/it groups regarding enhancement requests and open support tickets, accurately record discussions, decisions and action items
* assist the project manager in following up and prioritizing development
* create and execute test scenarios and test cases, working closely with qa team
* coordinate and participate in integration and user testing
* review and help troubleshoot break/fix issues and provide operational support.
skills:
* expertise in sales and order management systems
* knowledge and understanding of key ecommerce functions like site browsing and navigation, checkout flow, order fulfillment, payment processing, order shipment etc.
* know the functionalities and features of the main web browsers
* be proficient in the use of the microsoft office suite
* be familiar with database query tools
* be able to write clear business requirements and user stories
* excellent verbal and written communications skills.
