Skills Required and Job Description:

Here's what you'll be doing:   Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: Design, develop and optimize ETL mappings and workflows with Informatica PowerCenter (version 9) in an Oracle environment. Prepare and maintain documentation to support design, review, testing and validation of ETL developments. Perform peer-review and testing of ETL mappings and workflows from other ETL developers. Contribute to ETL architecture as a subject matter expert. Provide production support by performing troubleshooting. Participate in cross functional meetings. Provide input into project estimates and work plans.   Job requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science related field or equivalent experience  4+ years experience designing and developing Informatica ETL mappings and workflows to transform and load into Oracle data warehouses/repositories and data marts. Strong attention to detail and high quality standards. Prior experience working with Web Services and XML. Strong communication skills with ability to communicate to both technical and non-technical team members. Experience with the following Informatica products preferred; PowerExchange, Data Quality and B2B. Experience working with multiple data sources and targets (Oracle, XML, flat files, SAS) Experience working in a regulated environment. Experience working with Clinical Data a plus. Understanding of data modeling in Oracle (10 and/or 11). Knowledge of SQL and query optimization techniques.
