Job Title:  Middleware Admin

Location:  Thousand Oak, CA

Exp. Level: 7+ years

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6+ months 

Rate: $50/Hr. c2c 

Required Skills:  

·         The primary responsibility of this position is to install, configure and maintain the Java EE application servers (Tomcat, Weblogic, JBoss, Oracle Application Server) and web server (apache, iPlanet, Oracle HTTP Server) environment running on (LINUX or UNIX), servers for computer systems used in the organization, in support of business processing requirements.

·         Provides technical support and is responsible for the implementation of the technical architectural design, strategies and plans that will be a delivered on an ongoing basis

·         Performs necessary systems maintenance in accordance with software supplier best practices and Company change management policies

·         Responsible for on-going recommendations and best practices, as applicable, for Business Continuity and High Availability

·         Performs software installations, patching and upgrades to Java EE application servers running on different operating systems (Linux or Unix).
