Job Description :
The EDC Application Build Services team seeks a Systems Engineer who will be responsible for the configuration and implementation of a firm wide records retention policy using Exchange, Outlook and Active Directory GPOs to define and enforce the policy firmwide.
Key Responsibilities:
> Collaborate with legal, compliance and technology teams to define and capture all desired business requirements
> Evaluate new technology solutions to determine compatibility with existing messaging technologies, including Exchange and Enterprise Vault
> Anticipate the implications of technical decisions on the end user's experience, as well as the IT support and compliance teams
> Responsible for successful delivery of components of projects and services
> Planning and implementation of service enhancement initiatives
> Review transition plans for introduction of new technologies and solutions
> Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerabilities and risks; determine the adequacy and effectiveness of the corrective action plans and proposed controls to mitigate these risks
> Monitor and audit controls for efficiency and effectiveness, execute compliance testing to detect control weaknesses and vulnerabilities
> Demonstrated engineering skills discovering and implementing new technologies
> Work independently and in a team environment (same team and cross-functional teams)

> · Experience implementing/assisting with the implementation of a corporate records retention policy that governs Email. - This experience is ideal
> · Strong analytical skills – ability to diagnose the interoperability of a diverse set of technologies such as Exchange 2010, Exchange 2013, Active Directory and Stealthbits.

> · Outlook 2010 is a must

> · Stealthbits reporting
> · Exchange reporting
> · Mobile Device support
> · Strong system analysis, architecture and design skills. The position breaks down as follows: 15% capturing business requirements, 30% system engineering, including configuration design and implementation, 30% testing desired policy settings to confirm compliance and 25% support/following up on user reported issues and anomalies.
> · Project related tasks: working with support engineers, vendors and other teams.
> · Very close to the technology – experienced in the design, configuration and support of messaging and communications products
> · Strong knowledge of ITIL practices – Configuration, Change and Release Management
> · Strong Documentation skills
