Job Description:

Position Description:

The qualified applicant will have ample experience in I.T. Production Operations Support in a managed services environment, with a focused skill set on Billing OSS System Integrations. They will help support several applications of the Billing OSS Systems, specifically from a front-end application support. They will back up and help several application SMEs related to New/Existing Customer Experiences; which includes front end Customer Management System, WNP (Wireless Number Portability), and Web analyst. The candidate must be able to multi task efficiently as the areas of support are broad.  Additionally, the candidate should exhibit strong project management skills, as well as exemplary product support skills. This person will be required to work in technical and non-technical environments, communicating with a multitude of internal and external audiences. The candidate should be familiar with the ITIL Foundations framework, including the full Service Lifecycle as well as Change Management, and how they are actualized in the IT workplace.

Position Details:

·         Experience in website support: Must manage the web vendor, tickets from external customers, and requests from internal customers. The analyst would need to recreate the issues reported.

·         Experience in wireless number portability: Must manage supporting call center needs/training, work reports and ticket queues, as well as understand the underlying transactions that facilitate porting.

·         Experience in billing system user interface support, as well as provisioning: Must manage the issues in the customer management system reported from the markets and call centers.

 

Additional Position Details:

·         The position requires the working of tickets as a Tier 2 or Tier 3 support analyst.

·         The position requires adherence to a regular on-call schedule, which may include working at off hours.

·         The position exists within a core support team, in a managed services environment, and cross-functional training is also required for purposes of backing up the team and assisting with large company initiatives.

·         The position requires regular status reporting for system health for the applications/environment within the candidate’s purview.

 

Additional Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience required

·         ITIL Foundations Certified a plus

·         Experience in Vendor/Partner Management

·         Expert in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.

·         Basic knowledge of SQL

·         Very strong written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills.

·         Proactive Attitude

·         Professionalism at All Times

·         Willingness to Learn New Things

·         Ability to cope with repetitive tasks as necessary

·         Ability to cope pleasantly with change in a fast paced environment
