Position: Senior SQL Server Developer

Location: Charlestown, MA

Overview:

A senior SQL Server database engineer to develop and support a complex web-based production application, and other applications and projects as needed.  Technology: .NET and SQL Server 2008/2012, SSIS, SSRS.  Contract extensions, and additional or follow-up projects, are possible.

 

Responsibilities include:

•Modify existing or write new program code of moderate to high complexity and scope.

•Work cooperatively with other team members in an agile/scrum environment.

 

Requirements:

•BA or BS required

•Minimum of ten years of SQL Server T-SQL database development experience

•Strong stored procedure, view, and trigger experience

•Strong SSIS, ETL and SSRS experience

•Solid understanding of database design and data modeling

•Experience optimizing databases and stored procedures and tuning performance

•Experience developing multi-tier web applications as part of a development team

•Familiarity with iterative software development methods, including Agile

•Ability to work independently and as part of a team

•Development experience in .NET C# a plus

•Oracle, PL/SQL experience a plus

•Excellent written and verbal English language skills
