Job Description:Job Role: Senior Database Architect
Location:  Chicago, IL
Duration: Long term contract

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for configuring and administering Oracle engineered systems: Oracle Database Appliances, Exadata, and Exalytics.

Job Responsibilities:
• Performs administrative actives such as upgrade/patching, configuration, backup, monitoring on engineered systems for projects.
• Tests Oracle engineered system’s releases and patches.
Document and track issue logs resolution for assigned tasks.



Job Requirements: Qualifications:
• Expertise in administrating various Oracle engineered systems – Oracle Database Appliances, Exadata, and Exalytics
• Experience with Linux operating systems (Linux admin experience a plus)
• Experience with troubleshooting potential configuration problems.
• Experience with OEM
• Experience with ITIL process
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong collaboration skills, responsive to service needs and operational demands



Salary: 60
