Re: [MTC Global] [News Update] Supreme Court orders AICTE to regulate PGDM courses for year 2014-15

Dear Sir,
Already the number of B-Schools are out numbered the number of prospective students. Also, students are attracted for short cuts by pursuing MBA by distance mode and seeking employment as soon as they complete the UG.

There is a serious need of cutting the number of B-Schools in India and should concentrate on improving the quality.

We at India are maintaining very poor quality MBA education as per my 23years of experience.

Thanking you,
With regards,

The Supreme Court of India giving a big relief to the PGDM institutions has asked the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to continue as a regulatory body for the upcoming academic session 2014-15. The SC in its judgment to a petition filed by the Education Promotion Society for India (EPSI) passed the order.
The apex court order said, "This is an Application seeking directions concerning the  continuance of AICTE as the regulatory body for the PGDM institutions...In view of Page 1 this submission that AICTE will be Regulating the PGDM institutions for the year 2014-15, no further orders are required on this Application."
