Job Description:

· The Client Applications development team is seeking a strong software developer with a background in designing, developing, deploying and maintaining Salesforce CRM functionality.

· The candidate will also require to have prior experience building and deploying Java / Java EE applications through the full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

· The successful candidate will join the Client Applications development team and be responsible for;

· Developing, deploying and maintaining new functionality on Wellington’s Salesforce.com CRM platform

· Building integration components to transition data from local systems

· Supporting the development team with Java application development and maintenance as required

Require Skills :

· 5+ years of experience with Java / Java EE development

· 3+ years of experience developing applications for the Salesforce.com platform

· Strong working knowledge of Apex, Visual Force, Salesforce APIs, SOQL and the Force.com platform

· Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns

· Good insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc)

· Knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies

· Experience in the Spring Framework (or any other popular web framework)

· Experience building integrations with the Salesforce.com platform

Nice to have:

· Experience with other cloud technologies, including Amazon (SQS/SNS, S3 storage)

· Experience with Active MQ or other messaging technologies

· Experience with Salesforce Analytics and Dashboards

· Experience with Documentum, Alfresco or other ECM platforms

Academic Qualifications:

· Four-year degree or more in Computer Science (or a related field)

· Force.com Developer certification is a plus

Keys to the Position:

· 5+ years of experience with Java / Java EE development

· 3+ years of experience developing applications for the Salesforce.com platform (must have experience with at least 1 Salesforce.com implementation)

· Strong working knowledge of Apex, Visual Force, Salesforce APIs, SQL and the Force.com platform

· Object-Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns

· Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· May require occasional trips to Boston for meetings.
