Job Title:Voice Engineer

Location: Stamford, CT

Duration: 6 Months

Job Description:

The ability to build and configure Avaya gateways as well as planning and coordination skills are mandatory requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Provide support (Technical and Project Management) in planning phase to project team

Provide support with PBX Lab build

Drive the execution of the gateway migration:

Build configurations for Avaya gateways 

Implement configuration

Hardware procurement, intake, work with DC official to reserve rack space, rack hardware

Determine circuit requirement, negotiate with vendors , determine termination points and proceed with procurement

Work with the Data Centers officials to route the circuits to the appropriate racks

Work with the network team to provision network connectivity

Determine destination and quantity of gateways required

Logistics and planning around cut overCreate, update and maintain relevant documentation of the implementation 

 

Characteristics/Skills:

Voice/IPT technical engineering skills (ideally Avaya and Cisco)

Voice/IPT hands on experience

Project Management Skills
