Urgent requirement : Linux Engineer : Littleton, MA : 12 month

Role : Linux Engineer

Location : Littleton, MA 

Duration : 12+ months.

 

If candidate are local to Littleton - yes, you need to do face to face.
If not local, it will be skyped.
This person needs to be very senior, as the interview is very technical.

This is not for an install engineer but for an engineer with experience in operations, maintenance and tuning of the application environment.

 

Job Description :

Ø  Knowledge of installing, configuring, securing, and administering linux OS 

Ø  Installing, configuring, debugging services, NoSQL databases, security profiles 

Ø  Experience in cross platform administration (Unix/Windows) 

Ø  knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, SSH, VPN, FTP, Telnet, HTTP, HTTPS, and XML including structure, practices, security and troubleshooting
