AADHAAR is a wonderful project. We can link every citizen(map even relations like wife,husband,children,cousins,fore-fathers relations etc) and their assets and income sources, transfer of assets provided the Government has the will.Every asset in India can be mapped to the individuals and eradicate black money in one stroke.
The UPA Government has just done what the Great 'Dhrutarashtra' of Mahabharatha  has advised to 'Yudhistara'.
Identify the stalwarts in the various fields. Give them(i) Adequate money  OR (ii)Give them Samman like 'Padma Awards'.Those guys will never speak against you.Even if they try to speak, public will call them as back stabbers.
So,Nandan Nilekani was given Bangalore,MP seat.
That's All.
We,Indians, do not have will.We have Mahabharat's and Ramayana. But we never Practice.Only adore and clap whenever these will come as serials in  TV's and give them highest TRP's.
Mera Bharath Mahaan .

UID was very ambitious project by NN. The project was just inspired by Hollywood Movies where with the help of finger and retina prints, any person can be identified any where in and around India.

For the purpose extensive project launched throughout India, the person, sitting on chair who was taking all your personal information (Which is really your personal information), may be a 10th class pass guy or in some cases he was even not comfortable with English language. All of us Indian Citizens have provided our personal data to them without concern of security and safety of data.

Still we do not know where our data is kept, which is the concerning authority has million of fingerprints. Sometimes somehow if the data is misused ...it can be a disastrous  step for India.

Thanks

No mistakes were committed: It was created for three specific purposes-those were successfully achieved. And the blue eyed boy NN and the even more blue eyes: NMurthy   were  partner to it-so much for ethics
The  welfare of the  nation was NOT one of them.
Many of us refused to apply for it. Thank  God the SC still thinks of the country

After a messed up three-year process and running through Rs 11,000 crore, the great discovery of a unique identity number for each Indian is practically dumped with the Supreme Court verdict that on Monday disallowed the government from sharing data with the CBI. Moreover, a sting operation by Cobrapost revealed that the process is riddled with holes with practically anybody, even illegal immigrants, can obtain a unique Indian ID by paying bribes.
