While few celebrities could manage to curry special favours from teachers and management, by and large many students struggle to pursue their sports pursuits.
Teachers in particular and the management in general should encourage students participation in extracurricular activities. I for one love to see the students in the playgrounds as they have immense opportunity to learn team spirit, what is it all about winning etc.
Sports play a crucial role in shaping up thr personality and all possible steps need to be taken to encourage active participation.

Sports quota students get some privileges but they have to juggle two worlds
If the country puts up a dismal performance in sports, there are many to blame it on the government and the lack of encouragement for sports. But how encouraging are we towards students who actively participate in sports? Do sports quota students feel discriminated against in class? Is there a notion that they are poor in academics and easily wade through their course due to the quota benefits?
