Job Summary:

Consultant will be the technical lead for a projects to upgrade and integrate various legacy systems within the framework of the new technology initiative. Tasks to include:

•             Technical design and documentation

•             Maintenance of build process

•             Lead code and technical reviews

•             Perform development, testing and review activities

•             Communicate clearly with onsite counterparts and with the Resident Architect

•             Provide regular status reports to the Project Manager

•             Troubleshooting technical problems

•             Perform static code analysis using PMD, Checkstyle, Findbugs to ensure that the code meets the standards

 

SCOPE OF SERVICES <describe role of consultant, identify tasks and deliverables>

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Note: candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered

 

Portal development experience ( ideal candidate will have Oracle Web Center Portal or Oracle Portal, but any portal development experience will be accepted

• Development experience using Html, Ajax, Java script and JQuery

• Experience with Spring, web services using Java EE stack

• Apache CXF Framework for web services

• SR 168 Portlet Specifications and development of Portlets

• Strong debugging skills

• Ability to comprehend UML designs

• Experience in profiling tools like JProbe

 

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE : - Note: candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered

Experience in using Sub Version (Configuration Management Tool), Experience in JSF, Oracle ADF

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (use this section to identify any special instructions or requirements, e.g., Background Checks required, gaps in periods of performance, etc.)

Java - J2EE - Minimum Years Required:3

Oracle Weblogic Server

• Oracle Web Center Portal

• Java/J2EE

• Spring Framework 3.0

JSF 1.x, Apache CXF for web service invocation, HTML (HTML 4, HTML 5), Ajax, JavaScript, JQuery
