Re: [MTC Global] Message from one of my Favourite Author "ROBIN SHARMA"

Dear all

It was a nice book on teachers  mr nagarajan shared with us gone are the days when teaching profession attracted the most passionate and dedicated teachers. Now the teaching profession is chosen as the last resort by the dispassionate people. This is the biggest challenge we face   To make them passionate loving and dedicated is the concern

Hi Friends

I had an opportunity to read recently the Book titled "25 Biggest Mistakes Teachers Do and How to Avoid them" written by
Dr. Carolyn Orange, PHD, Professor of Educational Psychology at the University of Texas.

Her beginning Quote was mind blowing:

Quote

'Alas, words and deeds that cut deep to the tender core of the inner self leave scars on the soul that can last a life time'

I recommend that all the Teachers must read this book published by SAGE India Private Limited.

The reason for quoting this Book is that I heard some of the teaching professionals use some unethical , unparlimentary words with their students.

I expect comments from our fellow members,  as to how to make them realise their mistakes and to avoid this kind of behaviour
at least in future?

YOU CAN Do  YOUR best work

By challenging the way you did things yesterday.

By allowing your passion to see the light of day.

Becoming part of the solution versus growing the problem.

Expecting nothing less than you playing at world-class.

By giving away the credit (especially when you crave it)

By practicing your skills so you become a virtuoso.

By releasing excuses and doing important things.

By getting up when you've been knocked down.

By keeping your promises; to others and to yourself.

By showing integrity.

By delivering more value than anyone could ever expect from you.

By making time to refill your well.

By having a strong foundation at home.

By becoming as fit as a pro athlete.

By doing work that makes a difference and inspires others to do the same.

As Chuck Palahniuk once said: "The goal isn't to live forever. The goal is to create something that will.
Best wishes
