Re: [MTC Global] [Weekend Big Debate- II] Some degrees pay for themselves; others don't.

The problem with Degrees is that most students are acquiring degrees but do not have requisite knowledge. The emphasis is on securing marks. I feel that curriculum should be design in such a way that learning process must be inculcated in the students. Understanding the subject instead of craming should be the buzzword of our education system.

Degree is not just an illusion. It is the manifestation of one's
potentials, efforts, traits and attitude. Though a degree cannot
ensure the return (in terms of money), it certainly opens the doors
of opportunity. And then the journey of individual starts that
depends on such factors as creative and critical thinking,
performance, etc.

One more thing, degree is not the only thing that helps earn money,
returns. Look at Scahin Tendulkar, Sharukhkhan, Abhitabha Bachchan,
Salman Khan, Supriya Pilgaonkar, Makarand Anaspure, Caterina,
Aishyarya Roy, Ambani and more than 300 MPs of India who are
Crorepati!
