Re: [MTC Global] [Weekend Big Debate-III] How do MBA students rank prospective employers and recruiters?

A fair and decent salary is the foundation of the work contract between employer and employee. And without a decent salary, it doesn't matter how well we recognize, trust or encourage employees – or even closely supervise, monitor.
Once that foundation has been established, managers need to quickly rethink what motivates employees to be more productive and align their management techniques accordingly. Not only does this benefit the employee, it's significantly less of a hands-on, always-watching management technique for the manager.
So there is nothing wrong in youngsters ranking decent salary as the prime consideration.
Best wishes

Mainly Salary. Students need to take a holistic view and looks at parameters like career advancement, life-cycle earnings, richness of experience and contribution to society.
