Job Title: Z/OS Mainframe Systems Programmer

Duration: Long term

Work location: Charleston, SC

 

Required:

Systems programmer needed for IBM Z114 mainframe and related peripheral hardware and software products.

 

Key responsibilities that include Administration and Trouble shooting of the following:

1. Should possess strong knowledge in Z/OS internals, JES2, CICS and TCP/IP.

2. System Level RACF Support skills (Required)

3. Experience in SMP/E (System Modification Program/Extended) (Required)

4. Mainframe Batch Processing, Job Control Language (JCL), mainframe utilities (Required)

5. Must have experience in debugging and problem determination.

6. Experience of the following IBM products are required:

*  IDCAMS

*  DSF

*  RMF

*  DB2 Utilities

*  DFSORT

*  DITTO

*  QMF

*  DFDSS

*  Understand Catalogs structure

*  DFSMS

7. Experience in Upgrading/Migrating   Z/OS current installed version V1.4 to Current available Version (V1.13). Strong working knowledge in Creating new IODP, installation of driver system (Z/OS V1.12) on Multiple LPAR.

8. Experience in   IBM HMC console management & IBM Storage administration.

9. Experience in installation of Z/OS V1.13 with the help of SERVERPAC.

10. Experience in Maintaining & Troubleshooting CICS TS (v1.3) on Z/OS.

11. Strong knowledge in upgrading & migrating CICS from (V1.3 to 4.2).

12. Control the work flow on the systems through job queues, subsystems and output Queues.

13. Hands on experience on user id creation and printer configuration.

14. Provide on call technical support, as when required.

15. Experience in DB2 installation & Migration of Data will be an added advantage."
