Role : SharePoint Admin
Location: Madison, WI
Duration: 4-8 months+
Knowledge and Skills required by this position:
Technical Requirements:
· Industry experience with building, configuring and administrating multi-tier SharePoint Farms
· Experience with configuring Enterprise level SharePoint environments using Business Intelligence, PerformancePoint and Power Pivot service applications and functionality a plus
· Knowledge of SharePoint Services including Office WebApps, FAST Search, Performance Point Services, User Profile Services.
· Experience with SharePoint administration, virtualization and SQL administration.
· Knowledge of virtual environments (VMware, ESX, Maintaining a virtual infrastructure)
· Solid experience with IT systems administration in Microsoft Technologies such as managing Active Directory, DNS, IIS, Windows Server 2005/2008/2012, SQL Server 2008
· Experience working with SharePoint Content, Site/Site-Collection Structure, SP/Custom Features and SharePoint backups.
· Knowledge of SharePoint Server Architecture, Governance and Information Architecture.
· Strong written and Verbal communication skills and responsible for supporting technical and non-technical users.
· Experience in documenting effective solutions for knowledge database
· Ability to establish and maintain configuration management policies and procedures.
· Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment and handle stress appropriately
· Ability to design systems and procedures with the focus on making it simple to do business with Central IT.
