REQUIREMENT DETAILS:
Windows Systems Engineer
Bethpage, NY
Need peoples from East Coast area.
Rate: $45/hr on c2c all incl.
Responsibilities include:
· making the production systems more reliable by performing day-to-day operations including system monitoring, troubleshooting, problem identification, resolution and restoral following established and documented procedures.
· create and develop troubleshooting and restoral procedures and to use their technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve newly encountered problems that have not been previously documented.
· customer care, troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Required Qualifications:
· 3+ years previous system administration experience on multiple operating systems (Windows, VMware).
· Active Directory administration of: OU, resources, security principals, replication, DNS/name space, group policy management, schema modifications, ADFS, SSO, domain/forest creation, quest migration tool.
· Exchange administration of: DAGs, compliance, Blackberry, POP3/HTTP/IMAP/SMTP, ActiveSync and Push clients.
· Microsoft Office 365 management.
· Citrix administration of XenApp, Edgesight, XTS Introspe, VDI.
· Assist with performing regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
· Experience working in a dynamic, high-pressure production environment with a mid to large systems and storage infrastructure with multiple sites/networks.
· Exposure to servers (Cisco, HP), storage (EMC, SAN, NAS) and virtualization (VMware) is a plus.
· Hands on experience installation, and configuring and supporting system, storage and networking devices.
· Solid trouble shooting and problem solving skills.
· Able to obtain, understand and interpret performance data.
· Good programming/debugging skills (Shell, Perl, SQL, VBA, Powershell).
· Understanding of networking/routing and protocols in a distributed computing environment.
· Create and maintain logs, records, diagrams and reports of any and all systems.
· Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related equivalent education required.
· Certifications from Cisco, Microsoft, and VMware or related technology certifications are preferred.
The Windows Systems Engineer should have a basic knowledge of specialized technologies such as; Exchange, Active Directory, Citrix, file/print, System/Network Security, and Application load balancing.
