Details:
* Conduct requirements management activities
* Create/update/maintain requirements specification documents, general system design documents and detailed system design documents
* Work with the technical lead assigned to the business area, defines design solution across all system components, and identifies all configurations and builds task
* Reviews and comments on "As Is" and "To Be" business process work flows
* Act as a Medicaid subject matter expert (SME)
* Responsible for understanding and implementing business aspect of MITA
* Communicate status, issues and risk to management team
* Participates in collaborative sessions to document Medicaid business processes
* Review ongoing MITA assessments and assist in the development of processes to acquire higher MITA levels
* Provides requirements statements and business rules to articulate end-user functionality
* Reports and directs assigned MITA business areas customers and executes deliverable on status, risk, action items and decisions
* Ensure all business area requirements are included in the overall requirements documentation and design documentation
* Communications (oral, electronic) with State Representatives
* The candidates must have software development background using J2EE/Java technologies
Primary Skills:
* Bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited college or university OR Four years demonstrated experience as an business analyst for a Medicare, health care claims processing, or State Medicaid project.
* Moderate knowledge of MITA Business Area Processes
* Three years full-time experience as a business analyst, systems analyst, programmer analyst or programmer (experience in multiple roles listed may be combined to meet requirement.
* Three years of full-time experience in Medicaid, Medicare or other large-scale medical claims processing system Development background
Secondary skills:
* Demonstrated leadership skills, initiative, team oriented, self-motivated
* Previous experience in a DDI effort
