Data Analyst
The Data Analyst role falls into the Data Management & Business Intelligence practice area at our health care client, through which our consultants provide a broad spectrum of services to help our clients define and implement a strategy to deliver lasting and mission-critical information capabilities. Data Analysts at health care client devise creative solutions to solve a variety of data related business challenges, depending on the industry and needs of our clients. They perform a wide range of activities from start to finish on projects such as building a new enterprise data warehouse, designing and developing a management dashboard for a healthcare client, and managing a large and complex data migration effort.
Top 3-5 must have skills:
- Strong knowledge of databases (SQL server, Teradata etc.) and ETL frameworks (Informatica, SSIS, etc.)
- Adept at distilling technical requirements from business requests
- Proven ability to produce and own applicable high quality deliverables that meet client needs
- Excellent interpersonal, team management, facilitation and communication skills; must be able to communicate and present effectively at all levels of the client's organization.
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.) preferred
- Experience with data integration tools (i.e, Informatica, SSIS, and DataStage) preferred
- Experience with business intelligence/reporting tools preferred
