Job Title: Ruby on Rails Developer (Face to Face/Locals Only)
Location: Greenville, SC
Duration: Contract To Hire
 
Job Description:
 
Related Experience:
 
18 months to three years in software design or product support
 
Performs product design, bug verification, release testing and beta support projects which require research and analysis. Operates under moderate supervision. Typically requires 18 months to three years of technical experience in product design or product support.
 
Key Accountability:
 
Performs somewhat complex product design, system analysis, and programming activities which may require some research:
• Performs design, implementation and maintenance of single product modules/sub-systems.
• Prepares technical documentation of product sub-systems.
• Conducts the unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits.
Performs somewhat complex bug verification, release testing and beta support for assigned products. Researches problems discovered by QA or product support and develops solutions to problems.
Researches and understands the marketing requirements for a product, including target environment, performance criteria and competitive issues.
 
Other Skills:
 
General technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design and implementation. Experience with C/C++ programming languages. General analytical and design skills at single product/single environment level. General skills in research, project planning and implementation. General understanding of entire development process, including specification, documentation and quality assurance. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
 
Education Requirement:
 
Computer Science; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
