Job Description:Strong working knowledge of Linux - particularly SUSE and Ubuntu
• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, PHP, and/or Python
• Keen understanding of Linux infrastructure services such as DNS, NFS, HTTPD, and Squid
• Experience troubleshooting network, printing, and web services
• Ability and desire to learn a wide variety of open source tools and technologies
• Familiarity with virtualization software such as VMWare, KVM, and Linux containers
• Understanding of configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible is a plus
• Experience with Linux based thin-clients or small lightweight distributions a plus
• Experience with network traffic analysis (eg, wireshark, tcpdump ) a plus
• Experience with Linux disk encryption a big plus
Strong attention to detail and communication skills required along with the ability to work in a team environment
