This is a great opportunity to work on the team that owns all of the technology in the stores (computer hardware/systems/devices and operating systems…).
 
Skills:
• Experience with MySQL storage engines and replication
• Ability to performance tune MySQL servers
• Ability to understand complex queries and optimize them
• Strong grasp of database monitoring techniques
• Ability to work within the Linux shell environment
• Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, PHP, or Python
• Experience supporting MySQL clusters a big plus
Attention to detail and strong communication skills are required along with the ability to function in a team environment.
