Role: SQL DBA 

Location - Bartlesville, OK 

The SQL Database Administrator may be responsible for: 

Providing SQL Server database administration, application tuning, database security and production support Installing, upgrading and maintaining SQL Server databases Planning and executing database backup and recovery Providing database tuning for performance and stability Using Phillips 66 change management processes to prevent production disruptions and outages This position participates in an on-call rotation with other DBA's to provide 24X7 coverage 

Basic: Legally authorized to work in the United States High School Diploma or equivalent Three years of direct DBA experience working with SQL Server Five years of direct IT experience providing server support, database support or application programming Ability and willingness to perform tasks outside normal business hours and on weekends as well as carry an on call pager for at least one week every 6 to 8 weeks 

Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or other IT/IS related major Excellent oral and written communication skills Expert diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem solving for SQL Server Ability to work effectively across time zones and geography Self-directed and self-motivated to solve problems quickly and creatively Ability to work effectively in a team environment to encourage collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement Applications support experience Infrastructure support
