Skill Matrix:
Seeking a candidate with solid .NET development background to help design, build and support several small to medium .NET applications for our client's insurance business unit.  The candidate should have 5+ years in the role of a developer on .NET development projects.  Successful candidates will possess experience in development technologies such as C#.NET, ASP.NET, and SQL Server.

 

Responsibilities:
Design, develop and test web user interface components
Modify and maintain existing software applications
Strong skills with C#.NET and ASP.NET
Work closely with software development team, end-users, and management to define requirements
Translate business requirements into functional code
Provide input on web standards, browser compatibility and web related optimization best practices
Assist with evaluation of systems scope and objectives
Provide support and maintenance duties when required

 

Must Have Skills:
5+ years of experience in related field including:
Experience with web design and development using Microsoft .NET framework
Strong ASP.NET, C# and MS-SQL (T-SQL) experience
Experience with AJAX/jQuery
Experience in other programming languages like C++, Java, HTML, or other web technology is preferred
Experience in or knowledge of Agile/SCRUM development methodology is preferred
