Description:

A C01932 - Mainframe Test Environment Support team member is expected to have mainframe experience and skills.

They must have the ability to work as a team, ability to work independently, build on current processes or suggest new solutions, and have good communication skills.

SYSDEV team member Test Center nightly processes.

These automated processes are extremely critical as they maintain our production component base for all of our test environments.

· Understand and assist with support of the nightly processes, handle changes or issues as appropriate to these processes and job flows.

Test Environment build and maintenance flows:

· Understand and assist with support of the build and maintenance flows for the SYSDEV test environments.

Conversion team member.

Duties include:

 · gathering requirements from project teams

· maintaining conversion schedules and documentation

· building and testing conversion processes

· communicating conversions to our business partners and our team

· overseeing the process of applying conversions to our test environments

· change/incident management

 

Other required skills/experience:

· Excellent communication skills

· Support STE (Setup Test environment) tool usage and processes

· Support DUG (Data Utility Generator) tool usage and processes

· Use BLDISS (Host Issuance) tool to support test environments

· Use ControlM

· Use HP Service Manager

· Utilize software configuration management through SIA tool process

· Understand other mainframe tools used at State Farm

· Understand testing processing for existing, existing plus, ICP, and vendor platforms

· Understand and use DB2 product, related tools, and usage at State Farm

· Understand and use IMS product, related tools, and usage at State Farm

· Understand reduced data capture processes

· Understand and apply REXX/DMS/Clist/JCL/SQL usage and coding
