MicroStrategy Developer -> San Francisco, CA - > 4 Months

We have a MicroStrategy Developer role in San Francisco for at least 4 months. Prior Dashboard development experience will be important.

 

 

Duties & Responsibilities:
• MicroStrategy report and dashboard development.
• Participate in the design, build, release and deployment procedures.
• Develop and maintain reporting solutions for large applications.
• Manage release and deployment of data solutions for large applications.
• Provide technical leadership and development for MicroStrategy suite of tools.
• Maintain ongoing functionality of MicroStrategy software and hardware environments.
• Perform problem assessment, resolution and documentation.
• Coordinate and perform data quality validation on new and existing reports.
• Participate in requirements gathering and design for ongoing development projects.

Experience:
• Supported or worked with QA teams on data/database/meta-data issues.
• Must have strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Must demonstrate a willingness, interest, and aptitude to learn new technologies and skills.
• Ability to work with other departments and all levels of the company.
• Strong dedication to quality customer service and a working knowledge of service support and delivery procedures.
• Excellent follow-through and attention to detail.

 

Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar. Advanced degree preferred but not required.

 

• 3-5 (or more) years of core MicroStrategy development with progressive experience.

• Experience with dashboard development, preferably mobile dashboard experience.

• Ability to provide both logical and physical data modeling.

• Expertise in SQL required.

• Proficient with BI & ETL tool development and implementation processes.

• Proficient in Database Architectures and data mappings.

• Incumbent MUST speak English fluently.
