Job title:          JAVA developer

Location:         Hoffman Estates, IL

Duration:         12+ months

Job Description:

Demonstrated understanding of multi-tiered application development and design considerations for both client-server, and web-based.
• Demonstrated understanding of Object Oriented techniques such as inheritance and polymorphism, and Design Patterns.
• Demonstrated understanding framework-based development (Spring, Hibernate)
• Must have at least 5+ years development experience in in Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, XML technologies.
• Must have at least 5+ years of working experience with JSP, JSTL , JQuery, CSS.
• Must have experience developing web applications using Spring and Hibernate. Good understanding in Web Services, XSD, XML, SOAP is required
• Must have experience with the following development tools: Eclipse IDE, ANT, Maven (preferred, not required)
• Must have good experience in writing SQL, Stored Procedures and views. Knowledge of MySQL DB.
• Experience working with Application Server, Apache Web Server and Tomcat Server. Experience configuring and administering Tomcat server.
• Conduct a full range of programming tasks including analysis, coding, debugging of complex programing logic. Establishing test procedures, testing and debugging programs.
• Good understanding of Unix/Windows Operating system. Experience writing shell and batch scripts.
• Conduct/participate in code reviews.

Skills:
• Development Tools : Eclipse, Maven, MySQL Workbench
• J2EE Technologies : JSP2.0, Hibernate3.2, JQuery, SAX,DOM, XSL, XML, JavaScript, HTML, JSTL and CSS
• Frameworks : Spring 3.X, Hibernate

• Web Services : SOAP and WSDL
• Database Knowledge: MySQL
