 Location: Mahwah, NJ

Description:

Mandatory Technical Skill

DBMS:  SQL Server 2008 R2 / 2012
Languages:  T-SQL, C#
Operating Systems:   Wndows 2008 / Windows 2012
  
Tools/Utilities:   ERWIN, Visual Studio 2010 / 2013, SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Sertver Data Tool 2013, Team Foundation Server

Expectations: 
§ Create/design logical and physical data models using ERWIN 
§ Design data feeds for high volume (200 million messages per day feeding into the data warehouse) via near real time environments 
§ Create/design  Dimensional Model (Star Schema) , Hands-on experience in SQL Server Analysis Services, SQL Server DB 
§ Define Data Security Model (Role based Security ) 
§ Understand and translate business needs into data models supporting long-term solutions 
§ Data Profiling, Data Analysis , Data Lifecycle Management required for UPS BI 
§ Perform reverse engineering of physical data models from databases and SQL scripts. 
§ Experience on SSIS for High Performence ETL Design & Development.
§ Work with the Application Development team to implement data strategies, build data flows and develop conceptual data models. 
§ Implement best practices to ensure high data quality and reduced redundancy. 
§ Optimize and update logical and physical data models to support new and existing projects. 
§ Analyze data-related system integration challenges and propose appropriate solutions. 
Experience on designing Multi dimensional cubes with very low data refresh latency
Experience on various Partition storage mode and Partition management in SQL Analysis Services
Experience with Partition processing schemes in SQL Analysis Services.
Hands on experience on Tabular models in SQL Analysis Services.
