Re: [MTC Global] Is the two-year classical MBA on its way out?

Focussed MBA or generalized MBA. The space is large enough to absorb this and many more versions. I think what matters is what sort of finished product come out. If genuine transformation has happened for the better, all is fine.

As many sectors cannot sustain the rapid growth of electronics applications for half life of
electronics has come down to hardly a few days, so is the case with management education. Due to
changes in market-operations compounded with use of ITC in teaching, the education has become
agile. There appears to be heavy imbalance what the market does want with vibrant rapid changes
on one hand and paucity of trained faculty well equipped with ITC based education technology on
the other. This needs total revolution in management education. We need to adopt learning
organizations concepts.
