Jobtitle : Business Analyst
Location : Albany, NY
Duration : 24+ Months Contract

 

Business Analyst to support a state-wide computer system replacement project which is a web-based .NET application with an Oracle database management system. The project will include significant gap analysis and data migration activities.

 

Required
7 yrs demonstrated hands-on experience as a Business Analyst working on software enhancements, migration, or new development project(s) gathering and prioritizing business requirements with users, documenting business requirement and re-engineering business processes.
7 yrs demonstrated hands-on experience, within healthcare industry, with analysis and documentation of complex business rules, workflow processes, data migration scenarios, and development design options.
7 yrs demonstrated hands-on experience as lead facilitator of requirements sessions with business and technical subject matter experts (SMEs). Experience must detail use of facilitation tools to gather the requirements, such as JAD sessions, SME interviews, and focus groups.
6 yrs demonstrated hands-on business analysis experience with all phases of application development including requirements analysis, design and development, testing, and maintenance of reports.
6 yrs demonstrated hands-on experience with creating and developing documentation: business requirements, business and system process flows, swim lane diagrams, use cases, user interface mock ups, user documentation, and technical specifications.
5 yrs experience with MS Office, Visio, and other tools for creating and maintaining project documentation.
Need copy of BA/BS Degree or higher in computer science, information science, public health, or related field from an accredited institution.
