Business Analyst (Trading and Investment banking exp)

Washington, DC
12+ Months

 

Required Skill set.

 

(Minimum Mandatory Capabilities)

 

• Minimum of 8-10 years of direct experience in business analysis and data and

 

process modeling techniques.  Experience with data flow diagrams, use case

 

diagrams, activity diagrams is highly desired.  

 

• Advanced degrees in technology and/or finance

 

• Thorough understanding and experience in Trade & Supply Chain Finance

 

business model

 

• In-depth familiarity with Back Office processing

 

• Thorough understanding of investment processing related to guarantee and loan 

 

operations

 

• 5+ years of business analysis experience on highly complex financial IT

 

projects.

 

• Minimum 5 years' experience in investment

 

• Excellent communication and facilitation skills

 

• Effective listening: ability to clearly document the real need not merely the

 

business want

 

Ability to lead the business to a solution that will meet their true needs.

 

• Ability to see the solution in the eyes of the customer.

 

• Ability to understand the client's personal style and match with equal style

 

that is not threatening (e.g., to a detailed style: provide detail, to a

 

conceptual thinker: keep it high level).

 

• Ability to lead:  To show leadership with clients and be their voice

 

and to then lead the delivery for the client.

 

• Able to work on multiple tasks at the same time, excellent planning and

 

coordination ability

 

•  Excellent writing/documentation skills.

 

• Outstanding analytical skills

 

• Ability to quickly gain an understanding of system/business processes and

 

interact with mid-level business users to extract business process details.
