Re: [MTC Global] Outsourcing in Higher Education

Assessment and evaluations are not proof of the students learning-they are a reflection of the teaching and how it was taught. We label a class as poor performers based on some random questions-rarely is it taken as the inability of the teacher to help the students learn.
the day we see this we will not outsource assessment

Dear All,

Happy Morning!

If we look at the entire value chain of services within higher education , we can see there is huge opportunity to outsource many of the existing services for efficiency and effectiveness. It may counter to some extent growing cost of higher education and deflationary trend.

To some extent online enrolment, quality check , assessment etc may be outsourced from expertise service providers. Educational institutions need to find out innovative ways to remain competitive as IT is the major game changer.

Request esteemed members' reflections.
