Here are the high level duties:
· Migrate VB.NET code from .NET3.5 framework to .NET4.0 (Mainly compilation required in .NET 4.0 and some tweaking)
· Coordinate with application vendor for any compatibility issues with new version of application
· Document changes required/made to migrate code from .NET 3.5 to .NET 4.0
· Support/coordinate data migration from SQL Server 2008 to Oracle 11G
· Report status to application manager on weekly and monthly as required
· Triage and fix any defects identified during testing
