Production/Application Support Consultant.
They can sit in: Honolulu HI, Cypress CA, Hartford CT or Burlington VT.
6 month contract
14 positions open

 

These candidates have to have experience in Application Support/Production Support. And specialize in either Siebel, Oracle OPA, Oracle ADF, Oracle Suite, Oracle SOA, or ETL.

 

I can set up interviews for tomorrow. And they are hiring after ONLY ONE PHONE INTERVIEW!

 

Must-haves
Two years of production support experience
One of the following technologies:
Siebel
Oracle OPA
Oracle ADF
Oracle Suite
Oralce SOA
ETL
Java/J2EE experience
Experience in SOA (service oriented architecture)
Thunderhead or Webcenter
EDI
Strong SQL knowledge

 

Role
Perform small enhancements and code changes in Siebel
Review new items (problems, incidents) assigned to the application work group
Triage production incidents and resolve issues as quickly as possible
Provide technical guidance to the team members in resolving production issues
Perform root cause analysis & identify permanent fix to problem tickets
Develop solution/break fix, perform testing and deployment and understand the design, code and test cases of the application
Perform code and test case reviews on new application enhancements
Automate manual workarounds and maintenance activities
Participate in performance tuning activities to improve application performance
Coordinate business approval of production migrations (release entry framework to be extended).
Facilitate the hand-off of new release functionality from the development team to the OM team
Monitor production capacity and storage for ! the application and take corrective action when capacity thresholds are passed
Perform productivity improvement programs and preventive maintenance initiatives related to OM
Monitor and report on quality of code delivered to production
