First & foremost, let us look at our Biggest Challenge - Teachers.
I want to share some hard bare facts - with an objective of societal good,
nothing directed agianst anyone.
Most of them stop learning the moment they start teaching. Why??
Teaching is Learning.
Next, many teachers have less than average comm  skills - oral, listening, written, body language.
What are the efforts they are putting in to improve?Miniscule & paltry.

How do they expect the B tech/ MBA/ PGDM/ Dist edn/ PG students to attend classes & listen to them??? No way.

"When you study great teachers... you will learn much more from their caring and hard work than from their style." ― William Glasser

As T V Maniprasad wrote, we must solve the following issues pertaining to teachers;

We need quality willing teachers, willing to learn and adopt themselves in their teachings - ASAP

Make the teachers research minded and also industry oriented

Corporate spend a lot on branding on Institutions We need branding of teachers, then they should be worth of that. The institutions must also focus on scaling up the standards of teachers & teaching.
How many high quality FDP"s are conducted properly, by the 3800 plus Management institutions yearly? Without the FDP"s, how can an institution attain excellence or get recognized ?

Ambiance of uncertainty on future makes the already unwilling teachers unproductive - Fine, but Management Teachers need to enhance their awareness levels drastically on a war footing, which will reduce their anxiety levels & unwarranted concerns about future.

MTC G is doing a phenomenal job in making better Management teachers & pushing up Management education.

regards,
Ramesh Vemuganti
