We've just been informed by reliable sources in Yaounde that top Central Committee and Polit Bureau members of the ruling CPDM/RDPC have called for an emergency Party meeting in view of what Is taking place in Burkina Faso and its possible spill over and ramifications for Cameroon. The anonymous source claims that while all Government Secret Service sources are of the opinion that the ingredients for a similar popular uprising in Cameroon are absent because of the Cultural disparities (250 diverse ethnic groups) they have successfully used these past fifty years to bamboozle and (Divide and Rule) their citizens, the authorities of the Party should not take any chances with this Burkina development.
They claim that former President Blaise Compaore erroneously thought things were under control but see how everything "just turned upside down in less than one week. We have to be very careful with these things". Our sources confirm that Ministers will be meeting with the Head of State to strategize on Government actions that need immediate attention and possible ways to prove to the Population that Cameroon is an Island of Peace and the Government is working very hard to alleviate the plight of its citizenry'.
