[MTC Global] Kalpatha-2014

Greetings from College of Engineering Trivandrum,

 

CET School of Management, College of Engineering, Trivandrum is organising its flagship event Kalpatha 2014, a two day National Conference on the topic "Social Innovation for the New Age India" followed by paper presentation on the same. The conference will be held on 5^th and 6^th of December, 2014 at Trivandrum.

 

'Kalpatha'is dedicated to uphold the recent trends and issues in management and bridge the gap between the corporate world and academia. It provides an unparalleled avenue to explore recent issues, gain insight into emerging trends and comprehend new management practices. Kalpatha, over the years, has been graced by prominent speakers from the industry and has seen unprecedented response from both industry and academia, alike.This year the aim of this conference is to provide a platform to the corporate, researchers, scholars, students and academicians from all over the country to share their insights and also to generate ideas that could be implemented successfully to make India a self sufficient and self generating economy. 

 

Papers are invited from students and other delegates on the topic "Social Innovation for the New Age India". The paper must be original and should not have been published in journals or presented at conferences. Each paper shall pass through a full review procedure and the papers shall be presented on 6^th December, 2014. The Sub Themes are:

All papers presented in the Kalpatha 2014 Conference are eligible for the Best Paper Award. The goal of the best paper award is to identify hidden opportunities which can be implemented by the Business players to bring about a change in an existing system for the betterment of the society.

 

A cash prize of ₹10,000 will be awarded to the best paper presented at the conference on 6^th December, 2014 in the forenoon. A Management Quiz will be conducted on 6^th December, 2014 in the afternoon which is open to the registered student participants. All registered student participants are allowed to participate in teams of two members. The winning team will be awarded a cashprice of ₹ 5000.
