Job Description:Our Client is looking for Local Area/WiFi Network Specialist for San Diego, CA. This is a 8 months contract position.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to understand and work effectively in weak-matrix environments required. Experience in the design, implementation, and operations of the following technologies: IP, STP, Trunking, PoE, QoS, VLAN, WiFi/IEEE 802.11, GRE, EAP. Certification in Cisco or Juniper required, Experience with Juniper network switches and routers desired. Must be able to draw detailed network designs using Visio.
Responsibilities:
Network Engineering: Makes operational and tactical decisions that can have million dollars per day ramifications (regulatory compliance and cost of downtime). While engaged in projects, recommends technology and sourcing strategy to a project manager and senior or principal technologist. Must be capable of passing comprehensive background screening for access to critical cyber assets.
