Job Title: ASP.NET Developer
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Location: Charlotte NC & Phoenix, AZ
In summary (details below), the ASE will have responsibilities for:
· Develop complex, data driven, web applications
· Develop API framework for consuming data from a variety of sources and sharing information with targeted systems
· Support Custom Web Interfaces using Bootstrap, jQuery, ASP.Net and ASP.Net MVC
· Support end to end developed applications
Application Systems Engineer responsible for developing, updating, and testing a solution that consists of SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, .Net, and TFS. There will be some design required to accompany the development activities. Also, this developer will have the ability to create and modify stored procedures and other database driven tasks.
In addition to helping refine and organize this code, new development of this application will be needed for integration-related projects along with documentation of current state code base for the various components of the solution. The application uses integration with Site Minder for single sign on authentication. The developer will use each of these tools and may introduce others in order to advance this application into a new integrated organization.
This person must be: an experienced Microsoft BI Stack Developer, a strong communicator (written and verbal in ENGLISH), a creative problem-solver, the type of person who takes on the responsibility to be great, regardless of circumstances, someone who gives and receives feedback well, a creator of solutions that you are proud of, calm under pressure, organized, able to turn on a dime, not high-maintenance (example wants to see a picture of where they are going to be sitting prior to accepting the job) Must know very well: helping us to identify significant business value trapped in our data, SQL Server Analysis Services, Tabular and Multidimensional OLAP cubes, Kimball Star Schema database models, Agile development techniques, Scrum, Applying business rules and data cleansing, Testing and debugging, web services, XML
This person must be a capable leader from an application development and project perspective. Additionally, they must have the aptitude and drive to take on more responsibilities over time, such as guiding less experienced staff.
Job Requirements: Required Skills:
· C# .NET, ASP.NET, HTML5, Microsoft SQL Server 2012-2013, Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Microsoft Visual Studio, SCRUM
· Minimum Qualifications 10+ years SQL Server Database Development experience 10+ years in complex .Net application development (C#.net and ASP.net)
· 10+ years of database performance tuning and optimization
· 7+ years of experience with SSIS development
· 7+ years of experience with SSRS development and deployment
· 7+ years of development in a SCRUM Agile environment
· 3+ years of MS Solutions development 3+ years of IIS experience
· 5+ years of data ware house implementation and development experience
Preferred Skills
· Preferred location is Charlotte NC or Phoenix, AZ, this resource will be expected to be in the office. 4 year degree with a technology-related emphasis
· Familiarity with windows scripting 5+ years of experience with Team Foundation Services DEVELOPMENT experience
· Experience with Autosys as a scheduling tool Experience using source code management tools
· Extensive experience with IIS 7.5 or greater Extensive experience in MVC (Model View Control) development
· Experience with TFS Application Lifecycle Management (nice to have)
