All numbers in Cameroon has changed and 6 is added to MTN , Orange and Nextel while Camtel you add 24 and remove the first 3.

Beginning tomorrow, Friday November 21, 2014, anyone calling their loved ones, friends, businesses or Government offices, who are using MTN in Cameroon, should add the digit/number 6 in front of the 7 before dialing. For example, if your mother's telephone numbers are 7777-1234; beginning tomorrow, to call your mother, you would have to add the digit 6 in front of her number; so, therefore, you will dial 67777-1234.  Again, this is effective tomorrow Friday November 21, 2014.
