The grass needs the cow as much the cow needs the grass.  The scholars and the guides share the same relationship. There are many occasions where the scholars have lodged false complaints, worthless complaints just to cover up their own shortcomings.  without knowing the predicaments and problems given by the univ. the students submit their thesis in right hand and expect the award in the left hand. any way the cycle had to be carried on. But here the question is where it is said guru devo bhav .and teacher who mentors is a source of knowledge and guides mentee. Why he /she deliberately keep student thesis postponed for long ? Why guide want their payment of fees for conferences , research publication by student? Why in name of viva they ask for money and threat otherwise there will be no viva ?
      Eminents write big words snd paras but if pravticaly we find profession al ethics are in dark . Its scenerio of tamilnadu , karnataka.rajasthan and all.
Is it possible to curb this practice and serve quality in feild of education.

The teacher teaches only one fourth, the other one fourth is acquired by the student by himself, the remaining from his colleagues (peer group) and the final part over the period of time through experience.
Hence Learning is something which can be from everybody and is a never ending process.
