Multitasking may be of two different kinds
1. Related areas > Horizontal Expansion: As opined by many that a teacher performs different tasks like curricular, co-curricular, extra-curricular , institutional building activities etc.
2. Un-related areas > Vertical Expansion: A teacher also performs various tasks in un-related areas like on the board of companies, Community developmental activities/involved in NGO activities, many teachers floated great companies etc.
Multitasking calls for skills, discipline, commitment,passion , knowledge in multiple domain and time management. Nothing is conclusive. There are many success stories to share in both the cases.
