Duration: 6-12 months

 

Job Description for PeopleSoft Lead Developer:

 

Basic Purpose The primary purpose of this position is to provide solution development for a wide range of financial and support office functional areas in order to facilitate business goals and evolve technology and processes in a cost effective manner.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·  7-10 Years of general IT experience /5-7 years work with Peoplesoft financial and reporting systems is required

·  Proficiency in: Oracle 10 or 11.

·  Functional knowledge of Accounts Payables/GL/AM/PC and PeopleSoft HR.

·  People Tools 8.4x/8.5x, Crystal reports, NVision, SQR, Application Engine, Application packages, Application Designer, People code, XML publisher, Integration Broker, Application messaging.

·  Unix Scripting Language

·  Unix - HP/Linux

·  SQL, PL/SQL

·  TOAD or similar tool SQL Query tool

·  CTL-M or other automated scheduling package

·  Microsoft Office and Microsoft

·  Project Travel None

·  Works with Solution Architect on design.

·  Design solutions.

·  Develop effective solutions.

·  Conducts peer design and code review (Unit Test)

·  Works with complex and business critical applications across functional areas

·  Apply knowledge from outside USF to improve USF development and reporting practices

·  Participates in the development/coding of applications, data bases, interface programs

·  Works with overall project manager to integrate development activities into overall project completion

·  Clear understanding of how each component of primary financial systems impacts the others.

·  Proven ability to see/develop enterprise process flows.� Proven ability to analyze and understand existing processes and code.

·  Produce comprehensive, detailed, clear, concise technical specifications from functional requirements.

·  Produce comprehensive test plans. � Strong problem anticipation and troubleshooting capability.
