Heavy javascript libraries and module loader experience

 

We are hiring senior UI developers who possess at least 8 years of exclusive or predominately front end web development experience.  Our client is an Energy company who is investing multi-millions on creating one web based system to support the core commercial systems of the business and revenue cycle which will be maintainable in the future.  

Responsibilities:

As a senior UI developer, you will be the expert on designing and configuring the front layer. The environment includes using JavaScript, JavaScript web-application libraries, CSS, and HTML5.  You will work closely with other developers within a particular group of a very large project.  After designing and configuring the front layer you will transition the work to be hooked up by another development team.  The engagement is long term, and the project site is in Houston, Texas. 

Requirements:

·         Extensive use with JavaScript 8+ years'

·         Verifiable elegant JavaScript syntax

·         At least 3 years using one or more JavaScript Web-Application Libraries such as AngularJS, Backbone.js, Cappuccino, Chaplin.js, Echo, Ember.js, Enyo, Google Web Toolkit, JavaScriptMVC, Knockout, Rialto Toolkit, SproutCore, Wakanda Framework, Ext JS

·         Excellent understanding of CSS rules and declaration of a selector

·         Recent experience with module loading (not just understanding of module loading)

·         HTML5

Preferred:

Agile methodology experience

AngularJS or Knockout

Module Loader- require.js
